If you had an attack of pancreatitis, you would not have to ask if something was wrong. You would be in a hospital bed, sicker than a dog and hurting far more than you'd like. A calcium imbalance could be the result of many things, and you didn't say if the levels were higher or lower than normal values. That makes a difference in deciding what the problem might be. Although smoking itself is not a risk factor, other things in your life like your diet or family health history would be. If the level was worrisome, the doctor should have covered things that needed to be done to figure out what the problem was, and what could be done to remedy it. If you have more questions, then the doctor is the best person to discuss it all with. Just be honest with all your history, including the pot. Trust me, they hear far worse than that. While it's not likely an issue, a doctor can't treat you well unless he has all the facts. For now, try to relax. Most of what goes wrong with us is something simple, and fairly easy to fix or treat. Chances are yours will be too. Hear hoof-beats, look for horses, not zebras and definitely not unicorns. Stop thinking worse case scenarios until you have more evidence to support it. Not saying your pancreas isn't fussy, but at your age, it's not likely.
