Can someone please tell me about the organic German cheese called " pikant cheese"?
I'm living in Germany but I do not speak much German yet and I really want to try this Cheese at the bakery but it cost an arm and leg and you can only buy it in big blocks. has anyone tried it? I like any cheese that is swissy or chedery. will I like this one?

It is a bit like Limburger but not as stinky, softer like Havarti, with small wholes, the thing in Europe is they cut there cheese (pardon the pun), slices like in the US are harder to find, the supermarket is the best place, alot depends on your locality, I have not been to Germany since the 1980's we were there for Oktoberfest in Munich, I did go to a few local shops and saw what they sold, keep looking it is quite a common cheese and you may have by it in a piece and slice it at home.
