Does tanning help scars fade or make them more noticeable?
I am a recovered cutter
as a result my arm is covered in -very- noticable scars
and the sooner they go away the better
This might sound crazy, but lightening your skin will help make noticable scars diminish more than tanning will. A lot of scar removing systems involve brightening the skin and evening out skin tone. Tanning might help short-term, but in the long run, it's not the best way.
